I'd like to see ALL types of RPG systems represented here.

This group's function is to allow players and GM's (DM's) to meet in the central San Diego area. The meeting locations are TBA based on input from interested members. This is because while I live in Spring Valley, I understand that not everyone will want to travel out here. So, we may be able to have lunch somewhere central, like Mission Valley, or North Park, etc. These meetings will serve as an open platform for starting gaming groups.

The meeting itself will be very informal. I'd like to gather a list of members, the systems they like to play in, and whether they GM or play, or both. The amount of contact info that members want to disclose is completely up to them, and the privacy act would apply (no one gets your info without your approval).

Announcements and suggestions will be made for current game locations and times, available players, GM's seeking players, willing hosts, etc.

In such an open medium as the INTERNET, I feel obliged to state a few obvious but uncomfortable things, so bear with me. The best thing we can do for each other as human beings is respect one another. Any member who uses this group as a stage for personal insult, injury, or general disrespect toward another will be removed from the group, never to return. Period. Also, while I certainly don't frown on anyone (of age) having a beer at a Saturday lunch event, please respect yourself and don't show up (or get) sloppy-trashed. Beyond that, it's up to local law enforcement to decide, and I will cooperate with them in every way possible. Play nice ;P

In order to only foster membership from people who intend to be active members we are asking for a token membership fee of $2.50 for a three month membership.

I would like to add that if you rsvp to an event as yes, please be there. Setting up events takes time and effort with no pay. Events are set up for all of our enjoyment.
