Austin RPG May Meeting
We've got another great Meetup planned this month!
Here's your chance to meet new members and discover who is interested in what games. Swap war stories. Debate virtues and pitfalls of various gaming systems. If there's time and interest, there will even be a One Shot adventure.

What's New?

"When I started playing RPGs, they came in boxes with dice and crayons. So, it's been a while. Since then, I've played a whole bunch of them. It would be nice to get a regular group going. I'm open to running, playing or any combination therein."
-
"Hi, I'm a lifetime gamer whose last quest would be to find a bunch of players to play/run a weekly or even biweekly game with. This was much easier in college!"
-
"Hi! A D&D player. Um. I don't know what else ... grad student?"
-
"Looking for a D&D (or any system) in San Marcos, TX"
-
"Hi, Xander. Thanks for playing Deadlands this past Saturday; I really enjoyed getting to run a game. I'll definitely stop by in the near future and check out Warmachine/Hordes."
-
"Hey! I've been gaming in the area for a few years now, but I only recently found out about this when I stumbled across a Deadlands game about to start at Dragon's Lair. Really enjoyed it, and now I want more."
-
"Hey, everyone! Finally getting time for gaming again now that the kid's in college!"
-
"I have been playing RPG's for... The first RPG I played was the Dungeons and Dragons Basic set in the purple box and I was really excited when the Dungeons and Dragons Expert set was released soon after! I am located in outside of South Austin."
-
"Telas on a number of boards here, Kurt to his friends. I play D&D and am planning to run a Savage Worlds game after things settle down after our firstborn comes into the picture this summer. "
-
"Hello folks, just moved to Austin and I just received the palladium books' new robotech shadow chronicles game, and I'm looking for folks who are interested in that. I'm fairly new into pen/paper rpgs, but i've always big into videogames and ccgs. "
-
"Hey, guys. I haven't had tons of experience with RPGs, except WoD and a couple others. Currently I'm in England, but will be making my way home to Austin by the beginning of July. Hopefully then I'll really be able to jump in. =D"
-
"died in the wool dnd player from years back. would love to find someone to game with other than just my kids, not that they're not really fun and good at it..."
-
"Hey, Sasha, thanks for posting. We'd love to see you join us this month, if you can. We're a friendly group, we don't bite much, and we can definitely introduce you to some great games and some great gamers. Please, come check us out!"
-
"In response to your RSVP for the April 2008 Meetup: At this time, the Meetup does not have a policy regarding young children, one way or the other. It should be understood that parents are responsible for their children, but beyond that, it's probably all good. I personally game with parents of small children, and we all manage to get some good gaming in. Let me know if you have any specific questions."
-
"Hey, David, I think I was supposed to post some information for you, based on a conversation we had at the Savage Worlds game. I just can't remember what I needed to post. Can you remind me, so I can get the right stuff up for you?"
