  •  I just went over some of the rules for ELFS and wanted to comment. From what I have seen, the system looks like a pretty interesting and rather simple system to learn. When I do get out to Florida, i'd love to get involved a bit with this system. I'd also like to know what kinds of settings that you have for these systems.

  •  Wow!! That is a lot to do!! I got to see Stephen Hawking in Seattle. He is very interesting and his thinking is definately hard to grasp sometimes. I also got to hear Brain Greene lecture. I am not sure if you have heard of him but he is the guy that does the string affect. He broke things down very well. Anyway. Goodluck with all of that knowledge you are intaking and good for you. I enjoy people who don't polute their minds with all of that tv and video games constantly! :)

  •  That would be awesome!! I probably won't borrow it right now because I need to finish one book still and then read the Tao of Pooh. But I will let you know when I would like to borrow it! Thank you so much!!

  •  Hey!
Could you also post your games rules here? Put it under the file section so that everyone who joins can see them here as well?

  •  I'm open to any suggestions on meeting dates and times. My weekdays can be hectic, so I may not be able to make it all the time. I'm happy to post a interim meeting on the site though.

  •  I think you would have enjoyed and added to our discussion on Quantum Mechanics a few weeks ago. This week's discussion should be fun as well. I look forward to meeting you Saturday.

  •  That reminds me of a Taoist poem I read in an Alan Watts book. "There was a faith healer of Deal, who said, 'Although pain is not real, when the point of a pin goes into my skin, I dislike what I fancy I feel.'" Anyway, my point about belief is not that I don't think they exist. Just that I don't see much use in them. If I have never jumped in the ocean I might believe that water is wet from others accounts or observation. After I experience it the belief just fades away. It has no meaning

  •  Do you believe that water is wet?

    Adam Brown (May 05, 2008 11:59 AM)
  •  I don't believe in beliefs :-)
